Legendary actor Humphrey "Bogie" Bogart (1899-1957) began his acting career in 1920 while working as a road company manager. He first appeared on Broadway in 1922, and he established his image as a tough guy with heart in films such as High Sierra (1941), Key Largo (1948) and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948). Bogart's role in The African Queen (1952) earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor. Slightly creased at blank left margin. Defects from original negative have reproduced at upper background.
