Stanford Jolley (1900-1978) appeared in both film and television, primarily taking the roles as cowboys, law enforcement or villains in Westerns. Jolley has appeared in over 500 roles and made a name for himself by having a slight build with a thin mustache. He began his career in Vaudeville and started performing on Broadway in 1924. In 1940, the character actor appeared in Chasing Trouble. He also appeared in Outlaws of Boulder Pass (1942), The Desert Hawk (1944) and Springtime in Texas (1945), among many, many others. Fine condition.
