Chapman has appeared in several off Broadway plays, and also appeared in two
films (Around the World in Eighty Days 1956, A New Kind of Love
1963), though both roles went uncredited at the time. Currently, she teaches
acting and vocal lessons at her own studio, Chapman & Chapman.
DANIEL BLUM (1900-1964) founded Theatre World in 1945, serving
as its chief editor until his death in 1964. Aided by Norman McDonald and
John A. Willis (his successor as chief editor), Blum also conceived what would
become the prestigious Theatre World Awards for promising new actors in
the New York stage, Broadway and later off-Broadway as well. Toned on top
