Signed on a typed letter from Bob Hemminger in St. Mary's, Georgia, written to Asimov, in part: "If you could spare any signed photos of yourself, they would also be greatly appreciated." Asimov (1920-1992), a Russian-born American writer and biochemist, wrote over 500 books. His most popular science fiction includes I, Robot (1950), The Foundation Trilogy (1951-1953), the Hugo-winning sequel Foundation's Edge (1982) and the Hugo and Nebula-winning novel The Gods Themselves (1972).
