ship-shaped Hugo Award for The Bicentennial Man (1976). Isaac Asimov (1920-1992),
a Russian-born American writer and biochemist with a Ph.D. from Columbia (1948), wrote
over 500 books. His most popular science fiction includes I, Robot (1950), The
Foundation Trilogy (1951-1953), its sequel, Foundation's Edge (1982), and The Gods
Themselves (1972). Other fictional works include Fantastic Voyage (1966), The Heavenly
Host (1975) and Robots and Empire (1985). Asimov, who also authored a series of mystery
novels and many non-fiction works on science, wrote over 1,600 essays. His biography of life
from 1920 through 1978 was published in two volumes: In Memory Yet Green (1979) and In
Joy Still Felt (1980). Fine condition. Framed to an overall size of 16½x26¼.
