Denison, who met his wife at the Webber-Douglas drama school in 1939, made his film debut that year, but it wasn't until the couple was first cast together in My Brother Jonathan (1948) that Denison's career took off. Denison, who also guest starred on several TV shows, making his last appearance in a 1996 episode of Tales from the Crypt, had served in British intelligence during WWII.
