Stage, screen and television actor Jack Albertson (1907-1981), who began his career in vaudeville and burlesque, is one of only three actors to have won a Tony Award, an Academy Award and an Emmy Award. The Tony came first, for The Subject Was Roses (1964), a role he reprised in the 1968 film version, for which he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar. Albertson earned two Emmys: the first for his role as Ed Brown on the popular sitcom, Chico and the Man; the other for a guest appearance on the variety show, Cher (1975). Albertson was a prolific actor, appearing in a long list of feature films, made-for-TV movies and as both a regular and a guest star on TV shows from 1954-1980. Lightly creased. Fine condition.
