Newspaper Photograph Signed: "Jack Evans". B/w. 5¾x7adhered to a piece of red
cardstock. Total size 6x7¼. In the photograph, the coach skates across the ice
while wearing a Hartford Whalers jacket. Jack Evans (1928-1996) played
defense for 14 seasons with two different teams. He reached his peak in the
mid-1950s, when he earned the right to take the ice for every game for four
seasons straight. He played for the New York Rangers (1948-1958) and the
Chicago Black Hawks (1958-1963).As a coach, he worked for the California
Golden Seals, the Cleveland Barons, and the Hartford Whalers. Irregular cut.
