In the year he signed this check, Haley was the executive producer of two television specials, "Life" Goes to The Movies and America Salutes Richard Rodgers: The Sound of His Music, and the TV series, That's Hollywood. The son of actor Jack Haley, the Tin Woodsman in The Wizard of Oz, Jack Haley, Jr. (1933-2001) was a Hollywood screenwriter, director and producer who found a natural niche documenting film history. His best known work included the two-part documentary, That's Entertainment (1974, 1976), and another set of highlights from film musicals, That's Dancing (1985). Haley won Peabody Awards in 1961 and 1964 for his series, Biography, and his National Geographic specials. He was briefly married (1974-1979) to Liza Minnelli, daughter of his dad's Oz co-star, Judy Garland. Slightly creased.
