LOVELY COLLECTION OF JACK NICKLAUS'S "THE GOLDEN BEAR" SIGNATURE ON A GOLF CLUB, GOLF BALL, AND MAGAZINE COVER

JACK NICKLAUS. Comprises: (1) Golf Club
signed: "Jack Nicklaus" on top of head. Wooden head of a True Temper Lightning driver. Fine condition. (2) Tour Ltd.90 #1 Maxifli ST Golf Ball signed: "Jack Nicklaus". Fine condition. (3) Magazine Cover signed: "Jack Nicklaus". Color, 7x9. Cover of the April 21, 1986, issue of "Sports Illustrated". Cover story: "One For The Ages Jack Nicklaus Wins His Sixth Masters". Fine condition. Marking his 20th major tournament win, legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus signed this Sports Illustrated cover dated April 21, 1986 - one week after he won an unprecedented sixth Masters title. Complimenting this magazine cover, Nicklaus also signed this driver and ball. In completing "as fine a round as I've ever played" on April 13, he exited Augusta's final green arm-in-arm with his son and caddie, Jack Jr. By shooting a final round of seven-under-par 65, the composed Nicklaus orchestrated a spectacular, come-from-behind, one-stroke victory over Greg Norman and Tom Kite. Since his professional debut in 1962, Nicklaus has won 71 official PGA tournaments, including three British Opens, four U.S. Opens and five PGA Championships. Nicklaus has forged a place in the annals of golf history by winning the Masters six times (1963, 1965, 1966, 1972, 1975, and 1986) and by becoming the only golfer to win all four major tournaments more than once. Three items. Presented in Gallery of History display case: 46½x21¼x4.
