Jack Wagner (b. 1959), born Peter John Wagner, is an actor and singer. He remains most widely recognized for his soap opera roles, appearing on General Hospital from 1983 to 2013, Santa Barbara (1984-1993) from 1992 to 1993, The Bold and the Beautiful from 2003 to 2012, and Melrose Place (1992-1999) from 1994 to 1999. His vocal talent allowed him to land the dual title role of a Broadway production of Jekyll & Hyde, which ran from 1997 to 2001. Wagner has stated multiple times that of all of the roles he has played, portraying the troubled doctor remains his most rewarding professional experience. He was also in productions of West Side Story and Grease. In addition to acting on the stage and the small screen, Wagner has released several singles and LPs including the hit “All I Need” and “Will the Rain Fall Down”, as well as the full-length release On the Porch.
