both 2p, separate sheets, 8½x11. Beverly Hills, California, 1962 August 8. Memorandum of
Agreement dated July 17, 1962 between Gleason and Cedars-Solar Productions is amended to
reflect possible changes of Blake Edwards as Director and Steve McQueen as Actor, and sets
forth the daily schedule. Although he first performed in vaudeville, nightclubs, film and on
Broadway, Jackie Gleason (1916-1987) found enduring fame on television. After first

returned to films in 1960, receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting
Actor for his role as Minnesota Fats in The Hustler (1961). Screenwriter and director
Blake Edwards (1922-2010), born William Blake McEdwards, is known for successful films

Adapted Screenplay. He was also nominated as Best Director by the Directors Guild of
America for the Academy Award-winning film, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Several of his films
