JACQUELINE SCOTT
Black and white photo of Scott wresting her face in her palm
Inscribed Photograph Signed: "Best wishes for/Peace, Love +
Health/to/Larry/Jacqueline Scott", B/w 8x10. Jacqueline Scott
appeared in two Broadway productions of the 1950s and a few movies, but she has
been primarily a TV actress, recognizable for many dozens of guest appearances.
Active in the TV playhouses of the 1950s, she was seen several times each on
the series Perry Mason, Have Gun, Will Travel, The Fugitive
(as Richard Kimble's sister, including the two-part finale), Gunsmoke,
The FBI and Barnaby Jones. She is still active in 2009, part
of the cast of the film Sugar Boxx (in production). In 1963, Jeffrey
Hunter formed a production company to finance a new Warner Bros. Western,
Temple Houston, starring Hunter as a circuit-riding lawyer, the son
of Sam Houston; and Jack Elam as his outlaw turned lawman sidekick. The show
lasted only one season, 1963-1964, the potential audience confused by producers
divided over whether the show should be a serious drama, or a tongue-in-cheek
Western in the manner of Maverick. Jacqueline Scott appeared in the
episode "Gallows in Galilee," broadcast October 31, 1963. Ink note (unknown
hand) on verso. Fine condition.
