Pictured with radio interviewer George Sanders who is holding a
half-filled bottle of Coca-Cola. James A. Farley (1888-1976) was Chairman
of the Democratic National Committee (1932) and Postmaster General (1933),
holding both posts until disagreeing with FDR about running for a third term in
1940. Farley resigned both positions in 1940. After leaving the
administration, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Coca-Cola Export
Corporation of New York until he retired in 1973. George R. Sanders,
originally a disc jockey, became a prominent radio/TV interview host, first in
Los Angeles and later in Portland." Fine condition.
