James Aloysius Farley (1888-1976) was Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (1932-1940) and Postmaster General (1933-1940) under Franklin D. Roosevelt, whose presidential campaigns he had managed in 1932 and 1936. After leaving FDR's administration, Farley served as Chairman of the Board of the Coca-Cola Export Corporation of New York until his retirement in 1973.
