Troupe of Los Angeles, requesting Worthy's permission to include a picture of Worthy with Ray Charles in a projected photo book entitled Ray Charles and Friends. As a college senior, Worthy was named Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year and Final Four MVP as he led the North Carolina Tarheels to the NCAA Championship. Worthy played his entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers (1982-1994), during which time the Lakers made the championship finals 7 times in 9 years and were NBA Champs in 1985, 1987 and 1988. A power forward, Worthy was a 7-time All-Star, and one of only seven Lakers to have his number retired. He entered the Hall of Fame in 2003. Fax transmission data at upper edge.
