Actor/singer James Darren emerged as a youthful star in films as diverse as The Brothers Rico (1957), The Guns of Navarone (1961) and the series of Gidget movies (1959-1963). Darren had one more regular role in a series, T. J. Hooker (1982-1986), after that contenting himself with directing stints and with recurring guest roles on such series as Melrose Place, Star Trek and Deep Space Nine). In the 1960s, Darren recorded a few hits aimed at his teen audience, notably "Goodbye Cruel World" (1961). Fine condition.
