Stage, screen and television actor James Gandolfini (1961-2013) has won three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Actor (2000, 2001, 2003), and he was nominated for the Emmy in 1999 for his portrayal of mafia boss Tony Soprano in the award-winning HBO series, The Sopranos. Gandolfini also won a Golden Globe for the role in 2000, and he was nominated in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Gandolfini, who made his Broadway debut in the 1992 revival of A Streetcar Named Desire, has appeared in a number of feature films, including The Mexican, 8MM, A Civil Action, The Mighty, Night Falls on Manhattan (with future The Soprano's cast mate Dominic Chianese), The Juror, Get Shorty and Crimson Tide, as well as the made-for-TV movie, 12 Angry Men. Originally tapped for the Carl Hanratty role in 2002's Catch Me If You Can, Gandolfini had to bow out due to his commitment to The Sopranos; the role went to Tom Hanks. Fine condition.
