opposite inside cover bearing George T. Bye's bookplate. Gentleman JIM
CORBETT was World Heavyweight Champion from 1892-1897. He has been called the
"Father of Modern Boxing" because of his innovations in fighting style. Page
bearing photograph of Corbett, opposite title page, is chipped at left edge and
loose. Minor foxing. Binding worn and a bit loose. Overall, in good
condition.
