JIMMY STEWART CO-SIGNED BY: DEBRA WINGER
B/w photograph from the 1987 Paramount Pictures reunion, Winger and Stewart are shown with 36 other entertainers.
Photograph signed: "Jimmy Stewart" and "Debra Winger", B/w 10x8. Photograph from Paramount Pictures 1987 reunion. Many of Hollywood's big names are shown in the photograph including Glenn Ford, Jimmy Stewart, Harrison Ford, Danny Devito, Tom Cruise, Charlton Heston, Robert DeNiro, Charles Bronson, Ted Danson, Robin Williams and Mathew Broderick along with many others. Winger's first taste of fame was as the super-powered younger sister of Lynda Carter in the fantasy TV series Wonder Woman. She became a full-fledged audience favorite for her peppery role opposite John Travolta in Urban Cowboy (1980), which led to the most famous of her "working-class" roles in An Officer and a Gentleman (1982). The actress' next truly important part was as Shirley MacLaine's foredoomed daughter in Terms of Endearment (1983). Her resultant performance was so good that it warranted an Oscar nomination. Jimmy Stewart (1908-1997, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania) starred in more recognized masterpieces of the American cinema than any other actor. In 1940, he won the Best Actor Academy Award for The Philadelphia Story, and he was nominated for Oscars in the same category for Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), It's A Wonderful Life (1946), Harvey (1950) and Anatomy of a Murder (1959). Stewart, who was awarded an Honorary Academy Award in 1984, also appeared in You Can't Take It With You (1938), Destry Rides Again (1939), The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), Rear Window (1954), The Spirit of St. Louis (1957), Vertigo (1958) and a long list of other features. Fine condition.
