later. At present I have none at hand. With Best Wishes." James Jones
(1921-1977), an army veteran of World War II wounded at Guadalcanal, wrote
several popular novels, many turned into films. These included From Here
to Eternity (1951), Some Came Running (1957) and The Thin Red
Line (1962). He also published nonfiction essays and accounts of
ordinary soldiers at war. Card has raised surface at top and bottom edges.
Irregularly trimmed on left and right edges. Overall, fine
condition.
