Album Cover signed: "James Taylor" on back. Color, 12¼x12¼. Taylor's 1976 album, In the Pocket. Tracks include "Shower the People" (which became a No. 22 hit on the Billboard charts), "A Junkie's Lament", "Money Machine", "Slow Burning Love", "Everybody Has the Blues", "Daddy's All Gone", "Woman's Gotta Have It", "Captain Jim's Drunken Dream", "Don't Be Sad 'Cause Your Sun is Down", "Nothing Like a Hundred Miles", "Family Man" and "Golden Moments". Record included. This album, Taylor's seventh, featured the contributions of a number of other artists, including David Crosby, Art Garfunkel, Graham Nash, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt and Taylor's wife, Carly Simon, on vocals and Stevie Wonder on the harmonica as well as a number of "guest" musicians (the contributors are pictured on the album sleeve). Singer/songwriter/guitarist James Taylor (born in 1948) has won three Grammy Awards for Best Male Vocal Performance for "You've Got a Friend" (1971), "Handy Man" (1977) and "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" (2001) as well as the 1977 Grammy for Best Pop Album (Hourglass). Taylor's songs have usually been introspective; his first hit single, "Fire and Rain" (1970) recounted his early struggles with drugs and mental illness. Taylor, whose Greatest Hits album went diamond (10 million sales) in 2000, is a member of both the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Covers are lightly creased and soiled with usual wear to open edges. Sleeve is slightly creased. Record is in fine condition.
