The musician signs on a record cover for his tenth album, Dad Loves His Work
Record album cover signed: "James Taylor", in blue felt tip, 12½x12½. Album cover for Taylor's tenth studio album, Dad Loves His Work (1981), with record included. Singer/songwriter/guitarist James Taylor (born in 1948) has won three Grammy Awards for Best Male Vocal Performance for "You've Got a Friend" (1971), "Handy Man" (1977) and "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" (2001) as well as the 1977 Grammy for Best Pop Album (Hourglass). Taylor's songs have usually been introspective; his first hit single, "Fire and Rain" (1970) recounted his early struggles with drugs and mental illness. Creases in some areas of cover. Surface scratches and dents. Edges lightly worn and creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
