(1926-1996) was a co-founder of the Burger King fast food franchise
alongside his business partner David Edgerton. A Cornell graduate, McLamore
was an established businessman when he met Edgerton in 1954, turning his
Insta Burger King into the Burger King Corporation, famously introducing the
Whopper burger in 1957. They sold the business to Pillsbury in 1967, but
McLamore served as the company's president until 1970 and was chairman until
1976. Corners rounded. Fine condition.
