television actress Jane Alexander (b. 1939) won a Tony Award for
The Great White Hope (1969) and an Emmy Award for Playing for
Time (1981). She was also nominated for Academy Awards for Best
Actress for The Great White Hope (1971) and Testament (1983)
and nominated for Best Supporting Actress Oscars for All The
President's Men and Kramer vs. Kramer (1979).Alexander also
portrayed First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt in two TV specials, Eleanor and
Franklin (1976) and Eleanor and Franklin: the White House Years
(1977). She chaired the National Endowment for the Arts from 1993-1997.

stain under 'with' in signature. Tape on verso reinforcing small tear on top
margin. Otherwise, fine condition.
