JANE FONDA
The Academy-Award winning actress laughs while walking across a
street in black and white photo, sings name for fan in black ink
Inscribed photograph signed: "Robert/ Peace/ Jane/ Fonda" in
black ink. B/w, 8x10. The daughter of actor Henry Fonda, Jane Fonda (b.
1937) made her early films under the influence of French husband Roger
Vadim, cultivating a sex kitten image, as in 1968's Barbarella.
Politically radicalized by the Vietnam War, she earned the lasting ire of many
by a visit to North Vietnam at the height of the conflict. Her film career
during the subsequent two decades was quite exceptional, however. She won
Best Actress Oscars for Klute (1971) and Coming Home(1978), as
well as nominations for They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969),
Julia(1977), The China Syndrome (1979), On Golden Pond -
her only film appearance with her father (1981), and The Morning After
(1986). She also marketed a popular series of exercise videos. She was
married to media mogul Ted Turner (1991-2000). Fonda continues to speak out on
public issues, from feminism to Native American rights to foreign
policy.Prime Time draws on lessons from her own life and others,
especially directed at middle-aged and senior citizens. Corners rounded and
creased. Light surface creases. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
