The actress and Broadway performer who appeared on the stage for over fifty
years signed this card in blue ink
Signature: “Jane Hoffman” in blue ink. 5x3. Jane Hoffman (1911-2004) debuted
on Broadway in the musical revue Tis of Thee in 1940. Her curtain call was
nearly fifty-three years later in Lost in Yonkers, a comedy in which she played
Grandma Kurnitz. She is credited in nearly two dozen stage roles on Broadway in
addition to a few dozen screen roles. Most memorably, she appeared in
twenty-two episodes of the soap drama The Edge of Night as Molly
Sherwood. Films she appeared in include Deconstructing Harry (1997) and
*batteries not included (1987). Fine condition.
