Document signed: "Jane Wyman", 4p, 8½x11. Beverly Hills, California, 1952 January 31. Wyman signs her acceptance to a documentary letter from Warner Bros. Pictures modifying the terms for her compensation in connection with filming of The Will Rogers Story, one of the two pictures per year she is obligated to make for Warner Bros. under her contract of 1947 August 11. Accompanied by a 2-page rider to the agreement initialed by Wyman: "JW". Actress Jane Wyman (1917-2007, born Sarah Jane Fulks) was married to future U.S. President Ronald Reagan from 1940 to 1948, and was the mother of his children Michael and Maureen. Emerging as a major film star with The Lost Weekend (1945), she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for Johnny Belinda (1948), and was nominated for Best Actress Oscar for The Yearling (1946), The Blue Veil (1951) and The Magnificent Obsession (1954). She hosted a twice Emmy-nominated dramatic anthology on TV, The Jane Wyman Show (1955-1958), and returned to the small screen as the ruthless Angela Channing on the series, Falcon Crest (1981-1990). Wyman starred as Rogers' wife Betty in this film, cast opposite Will Rogers Jr. as Will Rogers. Paperclip impression and staple holes at top left. Otherwise, fine condition.
