Carbon Document Signed: "Jane Wyman" in ink, 1p, 8½x11. Burbank, California, 1949 November 15. Contract in letter form from Warner Bros., signed by an assistant secretary, to Wyman . She has signed in the lower left, agreeing that "to the motion picture 'STAGE FRIGHT' in which you have rendered services for us under said contract, you agree that you will report to our studio at Burbank, California, for such period of time as is required during the current week to render such additional services in said motion picture as may be desired by Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, the director ...." Actress Jane Wyman (1917-2007, born Sarah Jane Fulks) was married to future U.S. President Ronald Reagan from 1940 to 1948, and was the mother of his children Michael and Maureen. Emerging as a major film star with The Lost Weekend (1945), she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for Johnny Belinda (1948), and was nominated for Best Actress Oscar for The Yearling (1946), The Blue Veil (1951) and The Magnificent Obsession (1954). She hosted a twice Emmy-nominated dramatic anthology on TV, The Jane Wyman Show (1955-1958), and returned to the small screen as the ruthless Angela Channing on the series, Falcon Crest (1981-1990).
