American poet Janet Hamill (b. 1945) is best known for her poem "K-E-R-O-U-A-C", which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She has written five books of poetry, with her fifth book titled Body of Water being nominated for the William Carlos Williams Award by the Poetry Society of America.
