Best remembered as the Oscar-nominated murder victim in the shower in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), she also starred in such films as Little Women (1949), Scaramouche (1952), My Sister Eileen (1955), Touch of Evil (1958), The Manchurian Candidate (1962) and Harper (1966).
