French aviatrix Jacqueline Auriol (1917-2000), the daughter in law of French President Vincent Auriol, participated in the French Resistance during World War II. After receiving her pilot's license in 1950, she set 5 world speed records for women and - between 1951 and 1956, won 4 Harmon Trophies as the world's outstanding female flyer. She published her memoir, I Live to Fly, in 1970. Fine condition.
