B/w, 8x10. This photo of a cute girl in a straw hat, has been inscribed and signed by nine actors featured in TV series of the 1950s. ANN SOTHERN, ANN TYRELLand DON PORTER were seen together on two comedies starring Sothern, Private Secretary (1953-1957) and The Ann Sothern Show (1958-1961). DAVID NELSON (1936-2011) and RICKY NELSON grew up on their parents sitcom, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1952-1966), while DON DEFORE played their next door neighbor. CLAYTON MOORE and JAY SILVERHEELS were The Lone Ranger and his "faithful Indian companion" Tonto (1949-1957). LIBERACE hosted his own popular program of piano music and extravagant costumes (1953-1956). All of these talented entertainers had longer careers in film, television and personal appearances, but their grouping together here should be especially appealing to fans of "classic television." Of the nine signers, only David Nelson (b. 1936) is still living in 2011.Corners lightly creased. Minor surface creases. Multiple signatures light but legible. Multiple smears on Clayton Moor and Jay Silverheels signatures (still legible). Ink stamp on verso. Otherwise fine condition.
