others. American racecar driver J.C. Beattie Jr. (b. 1978) received his
first motorcycle at the age of three. After gaining a love for motorsports,
Beattie and his father found a go kart in an old barn and began racing it. This
hobby quickly turned into something more when J.C. Beattie Jr. earned himself
three national World Karting Association championships in 1997. He began
driving monster trucks, and after being approached by an executive at two
PARTS Pro Series racing trucks, was offered a position as a driver of one of the
company's trucks. This led to him breaking the track speed record and
finishing second in the season finale, among other accomplishments. The next
year, in 1999, J.C. raced the entire season with the company, consistently
placing first, second, or third, in the races. That season, J.C. Beattie Jr.
won third overall in the national standings for his racing. He continues
to race and has aspirations of racing in the NASCAR Winston Cup. Light crease
