The NHL coach and hockey analyst signs his name next to an attached newspaper photo.
Signature: "Jean/Perron", in black felt tip, 5½x3½. Attached is a newspaper photo of the NHL coach. Jean Perron (b. 1946) is an ice hockey coach, coaching for the NHL's Montreal Canadiens (1985-1988) and the Quebec Nordiques (1988-1989). He started as an assistant coach to the Canadiens, being promoted to head coach in 1985. They would win one Stanley Cup under his name, but that would be his only success with the team, being fired in the 1987-1988 season. He was hired to the Quebec Nordiques shortly after, but only served as a temporary mid-season replacement. Perron was often noted for his confrontational coaching styles, making many enemies on both his staff and his teams. After his NHL coaching career, Perron went on to become a hockey analyst for different stations, though he was often the butt of others jokes due to his incorrect use of proverbs and idioms. Lightly toned. Fine condition.
