B/w 8x10 overall, image 6x9 (one surface). Veteran actor Jed Allan (1935-2019) has a wealth of experience in screen and stage roles. He's most famous as a soup opera star who can be seen in The Secret Storm (1954-1974), Days of Our Lives (1965-Present), Santa Barbara (1984-1993), and Port Charles (1997-2003). His most notable TV role outside of soap operas was when he starred on Lassie from 1968-1970 as Forest Ranger Scott Turner, who (along with another Ranger) served as the iconic collie's main human companion during that time frame. He was a pitchman in commercial spots in 1980-1981 for McDade's, a local catalog department store chain in the Chicago area, as well as for Two Guys Department stores. His guest TV roles include a recurring one on Beverly Hills, 90210 (1994-1999). For his work on Days of Our Lives, he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 1979. Fine condition.
