producer Jeremy Isaacs was born on September 28, 1932 in Glasgow, Scotland.
He produced his first television series in 1960 with the documentary All
Our Yesterdays, and continued to produce, write and direct television series
through 2001 including The World at War (1973-1974) and This Week
(1963-1991). Between 1981 and 1987 he worked as a chief executive of
the British public service station Channel 4, and later served as the
General Director of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden from 1987-1996.
In 1985, he received the BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award. Fine condition.
