Jeremy Sanford (1930-2003) is best known for his television play
Cathy Come Home (1966), which was an entry in BBC1's The
Wednesday Play, as well as his successful one-off Edna, the
Inebriate Woman (1971) for the series Play for Today.
Sandford won the Jacob's Award for Cathy Come Home in 1968. He also is known for
his interest in gypsy causes and published their stories in "The
Gypsies". Slightly toned. Corners rounded. Lightly soiled. Otherwise, fine
condition.
