Ahrens/1949". 11x14 card stock. Pencil drawing of Wayne, 5¾x8¾ (single
surface). A male vocalist of the dance band era, JERRY WAYNE was featured
with the orchestras of Nat Brandywine and Bobby Byrne. He can be heard singing
his signature song, "Room Full of Roses," on the Sony CD collection, Crooners
of the 30's 40's & 50's. DOROTHY AHRENS made fine pencil drawings
of celebrities, mostly musicians, during the 1940s and 1950s, and asked the
subject to autograph them. Lightly toned. Fine condition.
