Printed photograph signed in ink: "Thanks/Jessie/Colter". B/w, 8x10. Captioned in lower margin. The wife of country mogul Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter (b.1943) made a name of herself singing duets with Jennings in the early 70s, including "Storms Never Last" and "Honky Tonk Angels." As a solo artist she was part of the country Outlaw movement of the mid-70s, and her hit "I'm Not Lisa" topped both the country and pop charts. Her other albums include Diamond in the Rough (1976), Ridin' Shotgun (1981) and the collaborative cd Wanted! The Outlaws (featured, 1976) which went Platinum (RIAA). Colter and Jennings, who together produced the duet album Leather and Lace (1981), remained married until his death in 2002. Fine condition.
