Calaboose. Rare signature from the son of Will Rogers.

in blue felt tip. Color, 14x11. Lobby card for the 1943 film
Calaboose. James "Jimmy" Rogers (1915-2000) was an American
actor, popular in westerns in the 1940s. While his career began in the 1920s
appearing in Doubling for Romeo (1921) and Jes' Call Me
Jim (1920), Rogers' career didn't take off until his starring role in
Calaboose (1943) for which he is most remembered. The majority of
his films were made in 1944 and 1943, including Prairie Chickens
(1943), Texas Masquerade (1944) and Forty Thieves
(1944). He is the son of humorist Will Rogers. Corners and edges creased.
Pin-sized holes at top corners. Ink notes (unknown hand) on verso (no show
through). Slightly creased throughout. Otherwise, fine
condition.
