JIMMY BUFFET
The pop singer signs a strip from a guitar.
Ephemera signed: "Jimmy Buffet", 7" long, irregular shape. The tropical folk-rock style and beach bum character of Jimmy Buffet (b. 1946) gained popularity with hits like "Come Monday" (1974) and especially his signature song, "Margaritaville" (1977). His box set retrospective, Boats, Beaches, Bars and Ballads (1992) was one of the best-selling of its kind ever. His summer tours are immensely popular, as are his Margaritaville clubs and clothing lines. Buffet is probably the only pop singer with two restaurant chains named for his songs: "Cheeseburger in Paradise" as well as "Margaritaville". Fine condition.
