Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Frank/Sincerely/Jimmy Dorsey". B/w, 8x10. Captioned at lower margin. The elder of the two celebrated Dorsey brothers, alto sax and clarinetist Jimmy Dorsey (1904-1957) took over the band the pair had jointly led when Tommy quit in 1935. In the 15 years that followed, Jimmy Dorsey & His Orchestra recorded exactly 100 chart hits, many of them influenced by Latin music. He made his film debut in Lady, Be Good (1941). Jimmy rejoined his brother's band in 1953. Lightly creased at corners. Minor surface creases. Fine condition.
