Savo". B/w, 8x9¾. Inscription rewritten on verso (unknown hand). Jimmy Savo
(1895-1960) gained fame as a Broadway singer and comedian, active in the
1930s and early 1940s. One showcase for his talents was Parade (1935), a
satirical musical comedy in which he played multiple parts. Savo appeared in
a few films, including Carry on Sergeant (1928) and Reckless
Living (1938). Pin holes at corners. Upper left corner missing. Light
