English stage and screen actress Joan Greenwood (1921-1987), a graduate
of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, starred in such films as Kind
Hearts and Coronets (1949), The Importance of Being Earnest (1952),
Mysterious Island (1961) and Tom Jones (1963). Empire magazine
ranked her #63 on its list of 100 sexiest film stars. Her last film, Little
Dorrit, appeared in the year she died of a heart attack. Greenwood, known
for her husky voice and precise diction, was married to fellow actor Andre
Morell from 1960 until his death in 1978. Actor Jason Morell is their son.
Saul Goodman (1919-2003), a New York business man by day, pursued his
love of film and theatre in the evening, making friends with many celebrities.
While other autograph seekers offered album leaves, Goodman presented stars
with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in fountain pen. Noticeable
creases, including a vertical one through signature. Slight irregular ink
adhesion to signature. Otherwise, fine condition.
