Harburg, music by Harold Arlen. ©1933, Harms, Incorporated. Leslie, who starred as Sally Sawyer in this film, also starred in Rhapsody in Blue and Where Do We Go From Here? in 1945. Born Joan Agnes Theresa Sadie Brodel, actress Joan Leslie (1925-2015) was on the vaudeville stage at age 3, an ad model at 11, and in films by 12. Some of her best movie roles came in Sergeant York (1936), High Sierra (1941), Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942), and Rhapsody in Blue (1945). Her appearances became infrequent after 1960 as she pursued a second career as a dress designer. Lightly creased. Worn at edges. 2¾-inch separation at upper and 1-inch separation at lower margin of mid-vertical fold. Loose inside page has been affixed to inside front cover with 2 tape strips. Covers lightly soiled. Minor stain at upper left blank portion of front page, which has ink note (unknown hand) at upper right. Inside pages are lightly shaded. Otherwise, fine condition.
