The British pop singer signs her name in black ink
Signature(s): "Joan Regan", in black ink, 3½x4½. Joan Regan (1928-2013) was a British pop singer who was most popular during the 1950s and 1960s. Early in her career, Regan had several top 40 hits doing cover songs by popular American artists, and soon became a regular singer on the BBC series Quite Contrary, which ran for four years. In 1958 she appeared at the London Palladium several times and also appeared as herself in the film Hello London. After another Top 10 hit with "May You Always", the singer married, but soon divorced. Following the divorce, Regan suffered a nervous breakdown and moved to Florida where she married a doctor. In the US she saw a bit more musical success and recorded two singles for Columbia records, one of which, "Don't Talk to Me About Love", went on to become a Northern soul classic. Fine condition.
