letter and saying she does not have any photographs of herself from
Merseybeat. Extremely rare!
Typed letter signed: "Joanna Taylor", in black ink, 8¼x5¾.
October 27, 2002. In part: "Dear Steven Thank you so much for your
letter and I have pleasure in enclosing a signed photo of me from when I was in
Hollyoaks [item not included]. I am afraid I don't have any of me in
Merseybeat...". Joanna Taylor's (b. 1978) breakthrough role as an
actress came in 1999 when she was cast on the British soap opera
Hollyoaks, appearing on the series until 2001. She was cast in
Merseybeat (2002-2003) following her departure from
Hollyoaks, but decided to take an extended break from acting soon
after to pursue a career in writing. Taylor began writing a weekly column in
The Times, detailing life and views from the perspective of a
"footballer's wife". She has been married to footballer Danny Murphy since 2004.
