German race-car driver JOCHEN MASS (b. 1946) began his career at the 1973 British Grand Prix, the first of 114 Formula One World Championship Grand Prix. He is perhaps best known for his blameless part in the death of driver Gilles Villeneuve, who in an attempt to overtake Mass suffered a fatal car-crash at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix. Overall out of 114 races, Mass earned 1 win (at the 1975 Spanish Grand Prix), 8 podiums with 71 career points. After retiring in 1982, Mass has since raced with the European Touring Car Championship, even winning the most prestigious endurance race of all, the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1989 driving a Sauber Mercedes C9. He now drives the Mercedes-Benz museum's historic cars and serves as a German broadcaster for Formula One. BOB NEVILLE has worked as a racing coach for over thirty years, and is currently servings as the "principal" of Nissan's GT Academy, a highly successful racing program. Toned. Very irregularly cut.
