Color, 4x6.  JOE BROOKS (1923-2007) was an American actor best known for his portrayal of the near-sighted Trooper Vanderbilt from F Troop (1965). His first roles were mostly uncredited parts, not receiving a credited role until a 1958 episode of Cheyenne. It wasn't until landing the role of Vanderbilt that Brooks had any substantial work, and even after he was unable to find another role as successful as his one F Troop. He made his list acting appearance in the 1986 film Eye of the Tiger. American actor Gregg Palmer (1927-2015) was born in San Francisco in 1927 and began his career as a radio announcer and then a contract player for Universal where he was in a number of Westerns, detective and Sci-fi adventures. He turned to freelance and television but did not neglect the movies appearing with John Wayne in 6 that include Chisum (1970), Big Jake (1971), The Shootist (1976), Star Trek (1968), 3 episodes of Run for Your Life (1965-1967),Get Smart (1966), 77 Sunset Strip (1962-1963) and every Western series on television! His last appearance was in the mini-series The Blue and The Gray(1982). Ink notes on verso in unknown hand. Fine condition.
